We are proud to spotlight the winner of the Illinois CASA Judge of the Year Award... Judge McAdams
Judge McAdams is known for being deeply invested in the outcome of every case that comes before him. His hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach ensures that each child’s needs remain at the center of the courtroom. He holds a high respect for the CASA volunteers in his courtroom, and views child‑focused information as essential to the child welfare process.
His nominator, CASA Kendall County, captured it best:
“Judge McAdams exemplifies what it means to be a juvenile Judge: he listens, he values collaboration, he prioritizes children, and he uses his position to ensure that the most vulnerable children in the system are seen, heard, and considered in every decision made.”
We are grateful for Judge McAdams and other judges across our state who elevate the voices of children and honor the work of CASA volunteers in their courtrooms.
