You will leave with practical tips and tools to use the Model of Supervisory Practice, Family-Centered, Trauma-Informed, Strengths-based practice and Child and Family Team facilitation to support family progress toward permanency.
Michelle Moreno holds a master’s degree in Public Administration with over 20 years’ experience in Child and Family Team development and Wraparound leadership. Michelle joined the Immersion Site team in 2019 and is excited to support the Core Practice Model implementation throughout the state.
Norma Machay holds a Master of Human Service Administration from National Louis University. Norma began her career with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services in 1993 as a Social Service Career Trainee - Spanish Speaking in Cook County serving Intact and Placement cases. Norma has served as the Northern Region Immersion Site Director of Lake County/Waukegan Field Office for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services since 2016. Norma continues to implement the Core Practice Model across the Northern Region and throughout the state.
