Problem Sexual Behaviors: Typical vs non-typical behaviors for children under 12
This training is geared to help caregivers and staff that are caring for children with sexual behavior problems ages 12 yrs and younger
(Does not cover sexualized behaviors in adolescents 13-17 years.).
Objectives:
• Identify behaviors that would be considered developmentally appropriate in children
• Clearly state reasons problem sexual behaviors (PSB's) occur
• Identify behaviors that would be identified as PSB's
• Identify strategies to respond positively and therapeutically when a child exhibits PSB’s
• Identify treatment options, best practices and/or other resources
