CASA 101 for Legislators and Legislative Staff
This informational session will give legislators and their staffers knowledge and awareness of Illinois CASA and the local program network. Participants will learn about the mission of Illinois CASA, the work of volunteers, the implications of Illinois statutes, and the impact it has on children and youth in care who have experienced abuse and/or neglect. Additionally, legislators will be connected to the program(s) in their jurisdictions.
