Building Your Toolbox: Working with Families Experiencing Substance Use Disorders
In recent years, SAMHSA has encouraged the use of “family driven” approaches to demonstrate respect to families accessing treatment services. Workshop participants will share the value of using strength-based approaches that motivate families. Through the use of adult learning strategies, participants will enhance their skills of family interaction and support for recovery. Participants will have the opportunity to process how they may use the information in their daily interaction with families.
