Alternative Learning Opportunities Programs

Tuesday, September 21, 2021

Some students need educational supports and services that are not provided by their regular school program. In order to address these needs, school districts have the opportunity to develop and implement Alternative Learning Opportunities Programs (ALOPs) that offer a broader range of academic, behavioral, and social/emotional interventions designed to increase the academic achievement levels of these students so that they are able to meet the Illinois Learning Standards and complete their education in a safe learning environment. In this training webinar, participants will learn about student options, eligibility, and the transfer process.
