 h on trauma has shown the traumatic events to be a risk indicator for SUDs
  with families and the youth experiencing the chaos. The workshop will tak
 e participants on a journey to explore the Adverse Childhood Experiences a
 nd the impact they may have on development and family relationships. As th
 e substance use and mental health issues created by ACEs evolve\, strategi
 es for trauma informed care are important in addressing resiliency and for
  prevention efforts moving forward. CASA volunteers may be a very positive
  support for addressing and providing a positive environment using evidenc
 e based tools based in the Positive Childhood Experiences research. Join u
