Identifying and Exploring Vicarious Trauma, Compassion Fatigue, and Burnout

Recognizing compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout is just the first step in promoting resiliency. This workshop will provide participants with specific ideas on how to identify the ways that compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, and burnout show up for them individually as well as warning signs for early identification.
Learning Objectives:
• Identify stressors associated with working as an advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
• Explore personal level of compassion fatigue and early warning signs of vicarious trauma
