New ACR Process with Focus on Quality
“The New ACR Process with a focus on Quality” will provide attendees with updates to the changes within IDCFS Administrative Case Review Process. Focusing on identified priority areas:
• Case worker contacts
• Clinical supervision
• Child and family team meetings
Participants can expect to acquire education on revised process and CASA’s role within the review process. Participants will have the opportunity to dialogue and ask questions of presenter Alisha Hodge, MSW, LCSW IL DCFS Administrative Case Review. Participants are encouraged to preview previously provided ACR training “Understanding the Administrative Case Review Process”, in order to have a basic foundation of Administrative Case Review prior to attending this training.
You are encouraged to listen to the past presentation before attending the new webinar on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 12 PM. The past presentation “Understanding the Process of ACRs with DCFS," provided attendees with an understanding of the Administrative Case Review, the role and rights of participants, as well as purview and authority of the review. Topics addressed included but were not limited to, federal mandates and Consent Decrees, DCFS Rule and Procedure, visitation, Fictive Kin / family finding efforts, minimum parenting standard, evaluating progress and concurrent planning.
